What is Raccreative Games?

Raccreative Games is a new and safe alternative platform to upload and play your indie games, no matter if you are a solo developer, an indie game studio or a student, here you will be able to upload your games easily and for free

Just publish your content and wait for people to talk about it!

Who are we?

We are a small team from Málaga, Spain, working hard to bring you a safe place where you are able to upload, customize, and share your games!

How do I publish a game?

First of all, you need an account, you can create one by clicking here.

After that, you just need to verify your email and click the "Upload your games" tab, and a form will be opened, just fill it, make sure it does not break any rules, and click "Send"!

Note: You will have to wait for approvation.

Can I upload HTML games?

Yes! You can upload any HTML games that includes index.html file. There is a limit of 500MB per game for free users, but no limit for Star users.

How long does it take to approve my game?

It depends on how busy our moderators and admins are, but it should be approved within few hours. You can also subscribe to Raccreative Star so your game will be approved faster.

All content I upload is still mine?

Yes, it is yours and you will be able to update, customize or delete whenever you want

Do you have something to do with NFTs or Blockchain?

No, we are a regular web platform with no relation with NFTs, Crypto or Blockchain world

What is Raccreative Star? Does it have any limit?

Raccreative Star is a subscription that allows you to upload games whose size exceeds 2GB for normal games and 500MB for HTML games, and to upload more than 2 games per month, without limits

Can I manage the content I upload?

Of course, it's your content, so you will be able to edit it or delete it if you want to.

Can I get paid by my games?

No, not yet, but we want to add that feature in the near future, so please support us and stay tunned!

Do I need to download the app?

No. You can do everything within the web page, but we highly recommend you to download it for a better experience. This way you will have access to a game library and more exclusive features in the future.

When will Raccreative Games come out of beta?

It's hard to tell, we still have a lot of work to do, so we will work as hard as we can to bring you the best experience! If you find a bug, tell us!

How do I host a game jam?

User-Generated Content

Raccreative Games allow users to upload their own content, write comments, upload images, attach videos or other materials.We are not responsible for the content that users upload to the platform. However, we reserve the right to moderate, remove, or take other actions regarding any content that violates our policies, rules or is deemed inappropiate.If necessary, we will take appropiate legal measures in cases of copyright infringement, defamation of third parties, the posting of illegal content, or the violation of other applicable laws.Users must not upload content that contain malware, viruses, or other malicious software. Any content deemed potentially harmful will be removed from the platform without prior notice. Raccreative Games reserves the right to take further action if malicious activity is detected, including suspending or terminating the responsible user's account.Users are responsible for any claims, demands, or legal actions arising from the content they upload. These Terms and conditions ("the Terms") govern the use of Raccreative Games ("the platform") and establish the rights and obligations between Raccreative Games ("we," "our," or "us") and users ("you," "your," or "users") of the platform.

Acceptance of the Terms

By using the platform, you agree to comply with these Terms in their entirety. If you do not agree with any of the terms, we kindly request that you do not use the platform.

Use of the Platform

a. Access and Registration: To use certain features of the platform, you may need to create an account and provide accurate and up-to-date information during the registration process. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and all activities that occur under your username and password.

b. Usage Restrictions: You agree to use the platform responsibly and lawfully. You may not:

  • Access or use the platform for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
  • Engage in activities that may disrupt, damage, or limit the functioning of the platform.
  • Attempt to access other users' accounts, computer systems, or networks without authorization.
  • Post or transmit content that is illegal, defamatory, obscene, offensive, or infringes upon the rights of third parties.
c. Intellectual Property: You acknowledge and agree that the platform and all its content, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio, videos, and software, are the exclusive property of Raccreative Games or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. No ownership rights are granted to the content of the platform, except as expressly stated in these Terms.

Restrictions on HTML5 Game Content

HTML5 games uploaded to Raccreative Games run directly within the platform's environment. As such, users who upload HTML5 games are strictly prohibited from including in their game files any of the following:
  • Third-party advertising SDKs or ad networks of any kind.
  • User tracking technologies, including pixels, fingerprinting scripts, or behavioral analytics tools not provided or authorized by Raccreative Games.
  • Any code designed to collect, transmit, or process personal data of players without explicit consent and without being disclosed in the game's own privacy information.
Raccreative Games reserves the right to inspect HTML5 game files for compliance with this policy. Games found to be in violation may be removed without prior notice, and the responsible user's account may be suspended or permanently terminated. For downloadable games (non-HTML5), the developer is solely responsible for ensuring their game complies with all applicable privacy and data protection laws, including GDPR where relevant. Raccreative Games is not liable for the data practices of downloadable games once they are executed outside of the platform's environment.

Activation and Deactivation of Comments

Users have the ability to activate and deactivate comments on their content as per their preference. When comments are activated, other users can leave comments on the user's content. When deactivated, comments are not allowed on that content.By activating or deactivating comments on their content, users understand that they are controlling who can interact with their content. It is the user's responsibility to determine the appropriate privacy setting for their content and to understand that this setting may affect the visibility and participation of other users on their content.

Activation and Deactivation of Votes

Users have the ability to activate and deactivate votes on their games as per their preference. When votes are activated, other users can leave votes on the game. When deactivated, votes are not allowed on that game.By activating or deactivating votes on their games, users understand that they are controlling who can interact with their content. It is the user's responsibility to determine the appropriate privacy setting for their content and to understand that this setting may affect the visibility and participation of other users on their content.

Sign-In with Third-Party Services

The platform allows users to sign in using their third-party accounts, including Google, Github or Discord.By choosing to sign in using a third-party service, you acknowledge and agree that you will be redirected to the site or platform of that third-party service, and you will be subject to their own terms and policies.Any information and personal data shared with the platform through the third-party service will be subject to our Privacy Policy.We strive to protect the privacy and security of our users. However, we cannot be held responsible for the privacy practices of third-party services, and we recommend reviewing their own privacy policies before providing any personal information. By using third-party login, users agree to the terms and conditions set forth in this privacy policy and consent to the processing of their personal information in accordance with these terms.

Platform Moderators

Raccreative Games may designate certain users as platform moderators. Moderators are responsible for overseeing and managing user content and behavior on the platform.Moderators may take actions such as moderating comments, games, or user-generated content, as well as making decisions regarding the approval or rejection of games, activities, or posts.Raccreative Games strives to select responsible and trained moderators, but cannot guarantee the accuracy or impartiality of all decisions made by moderators.Users who become moderators must act in accordance with the moderation guidelines and policies established by Raccreative Games. Misconduct or abuse of power by moderators will not be tolerated and may result in the revocation of their moderation privileges.If you believe a moderator has acted improperly or unfairly, you may file a complaint through the contact channels provided on the platform.

Profiles and Games Personalization

Raccreative Games allows users to customize their profiles and games using CSS. However, the inclusion of any content that may compromise the platform's security or harm other users is strictly prohibited.While direct inclusion of code or other sensitive stuff is not allowed, you acknowledge and agree that Raccreative Games reserves the right to inspect and scan profile or games CSS for potential security threats or malicious content.If a profile or game CSS is detected to be suspicious or malicious, Raccreative Games will take appropriate actions, which may include the removal of the CSS and the suspension of the user's account, or even taking legal action if needed.It is the responsibility of users to ensure that the CSS they choose for their profiles and games are safe and compliant with security standards. Any attempt to set malicious CSS will be treated seriously.

About Game Jams

Creating Game Jams: Users can create and host Game Jams on Raccreative Games. By creating a Game Jam, the user agrees that they are responsible for the content, rules, and moderation of the event. Raccreative Games is not responsible for the administration or moderation of user-hosted Game Jams.Participating in Game Jams: Users who participate in a Game Jam agree to follow the rules set by the organizers of the Game Jam. If any of the rules of the jam are violated, the hosts of the jam reserves the right to remove their submission and participation of the jam. Raccreative Games reserves the right to remove or disqualify games that violate the platform's Terms and Conditions.Reporting and Banning: Game Jams may be reported by other users if they contain inappropriate content or violate the platform's Terms and Conditions. Raccreative Games reserves the right to review, ban, or remove any Game Jam that does not comply with our policies.Organizer Responsibility: The creator of the Game Jam is solely responsible for the content and moderation of the event. Raccreative Games is not liable for disputes, legal issues, or copyright infringements that may arise in connection with the Game Jams.Loss of Participation: Raccreative Games is not responsible for any loss of participation in a Game Jam due to the removal, disqualification, or rejection of games for non-compliance with the rules or the platform's Terms and Conditions.

Limitation of Liability

Service Interruptions: Raccreative Games does not guarantee that the platform will be free from interruptions, errors, or defects, nor that such issues will be corrected. Raccreative Games reserves the right to make changes or updates to the platform at any time without prior notice.In no event shall Raccreative Games, its directors, employees, affiliates, or agents be liable for direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use or inability to use the platform. You use the platform at your own risk and understand that we do not warrant that the platform will be secure, error-free, or uninterrupted. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim any liability for any such damages.

Raccreative Star

Subscription Fee: Raccreative Games offers a monthly subscription with a fee of €6.99, which will be automatically billed each month. Payment Processor: Payments and billing are handled through Stripe, a secure payment platform. Subscription Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription at any time. The cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing cycle. Right of Withdrawal: In accordance with Article 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights, the right of withdrawal does not apply to digital content subscriptions where performance has begun with the consumer's prior express consent and acknowledgment that they thereby lose their right of withdrawal. By subscribing to Raccreative Star, you expressly consent to the immediate activation of the subscription service and acknowledge that you waive your right of withdrawal once the service has been activated. Refunds: No refunds will be issued for subscription fees already paid. Even if you decide to cancel your subscription before the end of the billing cycle, the subscription will remain active until the renewal date, and no partial refunds will be issued. Payment Management: Payment information is securely stored through Stripe. Raccreative Games does not store or have access to your complete payment card information. Notification of Fee Changes: Any changes in subscription fees will be communicated to you in advance, and changes will apply to future billing cycles. These terms govern your monthly subscription to Raccreative Star. By accepting the subscription, you acknowledge and agree to the terms and conditions mentioned above.

Disclaimer Regarding Payment Processor

Payment Processing: Raccreative Games utilizes Stripe, a third-party payment processor, for handling payments and billing. While we make every effort to provide a seamless and secure payment experience, we are not responsible for any errors, disruptions, or issues that may arise in the payment processing system. Third-Party Responsibility: Any errors, delays, or issues related to payment processing, including but not limited to transactions, refunds, or billing inaccuracies, fall under the purview of Stripe. Raccreative Games is not liable for any such occurrences. Contacting Stripe: For inquiries or concerns related to payment processing issues, including disputes or discrepancies, users are encouraged to directly contact Stripe through their support channels. Data Security: Raccreative Games does not store or have access to complete payment card information. All payment data is handled securely by Stripe in accordance with their policies and standards.

Modifications to the Platform and the Terms

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the platform, as well as to update or modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes to the Terms through the platform or other appropriate means. Your continued use of the platform after any modifications will constitute your acceptance of the modified Terms.

Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Spain. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Málaga, Spain.
